Google Calendar

When you think of a calendar, what comes to your mind? One thing is for sure, calendars help us to get an understanding of what is coming in the days, weeks, and months ahead; and also how crucial they are to our everyday existence! Why not use the free and easy Google Calendar. You can share events and also embed your live calendar on website to let everyone know about upcoming events.   • Once you are completed with the signup and login process, we are now on the DASHBOARD page. Just to make sure that we are on the same page, refer to the screenshot below. Now, on the middle left side on the Dashboard Page we can see an Integration tab. Click on that. Dashboard

  • Once you click, you are now viewing the CanUMeet's integration page. In the integration column, we can see four types of integration which are:

  • Payment Apps
  • Calendar Apps
  • Other Apps

    Select Calendar Apps from the list and click on it.

  • This is the Calendar Integration page where you connect your CanUMeet account with your favorite Calendar app. calendarintegration

  • You are now looking at the calendar integrations that CanUMeet provides. Now select Google Calendar from the list and click on the CONNECT button.

  • When you click connect, you are now redirected to your Google Mail page, where you are asked to enter your Username and Password to login. Google1

  • Allow access to CanUMeet by clicking on blue color Allow button. GoogleAllow

  • Kudos!! Great work. Your CanUMeet account is now connected to your Google Calendar.

  • You are now redirected to a page on CanUMeet where you can see some settings like check calendar for conflict, Add new schedule to calendar and sending notification email.

Check Calendar for conflict: It will be a blunder if you get more than one meeting scheduled at same time on same date. To overcome that blunder, CanUMeet has introduced confict checking mechanism. Conflict checking is one of the most exciting features at CanUMeet. Once you are connected to your Google Calendar, others can see only the time in which you are available and free for the event. In short if you enable this option, you can prevent double bookings.

For an example, here we can see in first screenshot I have two events booked at Friday at 1pm-2pm and 4pm-5pm.


Now when some individual is trying to book a time with me, in the time selection slot, these time wont be available for booking bringing conflict checking into the scene. Please look into the below screenshot.


  • You can now see a list of calendars under Conflict Checking. When you integrate your google calendar with CanUMeet account, all your calendars created are now visible at CanUMeet. Choose those calendars where you want your new event to be booked. CanUMeet strongly recommends you to tick all the calendars available to prevent double bookings.

  • Add new schedule to Calendar: In this option you can select which calendar you want to add your new event. Click on the arrow where a drop down menu appears that lists your calendar. You are free to enable or disable this option as per your choice.

  • If you want to send notification email to invitee about the creation of new event, you can do so by clicking on the toggle button and select Yes. On the contrary if you don't want to send a notification email, toggle the button again to disable this option. Google3

  • Finally click on SAVE button for the above changes to take effect. GoogleSave

  • Now, if you want to change the previously existed settings of your Google Calendar, you can do so by clicking on the Setting button. Settings

  • Supposedly, you have added a new calendar in your Google calendar. If you wish to reflect this newly created calendar on your CanUMeet account, click on the refresh button. And then perform changes as per your requirement and click on SAVE. Google4
